Do I need to be home when you clean?
Many customers are not home when we clean. We do ask for a work or cell phone number in case we need to contact you while we're working. If you prefer to be home, we will schedule a cleaning time that is convenient for you.

How do you get into my home if I am not there?
You can give us a key, hide a key, put a key in a lockbox or have us enter through an attached garage using a remote keypad.

How is my key kept secure?
We label your key with a number and keep it safely locked up until your cleaning day. Your name and address never appear on the key.

How many people will come to my home to clean?
We normally work in teams of two. For some larger homes we may send three team members.

Do you send the same team each time?
We make every effort to send the same cleaners to your house each time, with exceptions for illness, vacations or other unforeseen circumstances. Also, if you've rescheduled your cleaning to a different day, your regular team may not be available. In that case we will send another team.

Do you have a lot of employee turnover?
No! Our cleaners have an average of over three years working for the Cleaning Connection. Our cleaners are well paid, receive paid mileage and paid travel time and receive vacation benefits. Also, we are very accomodating to our staff. All our jobs are part-time. We offer flexible hours for team members.

What are your hours?
We clean from 9:00 to 5:00 Tuesday--Friday. Office hours are 8:00 to 6:00 Monday -- Thursday and 8:00 to 5:00 Friday.

Is it possible to have my house cleaned at a specified time?
We can schedule either a morning or afternoon cleaning if you'd like, or we can arrive at your house within a specified window of time, usually one hour.

What if some of the cleaning is not done to my satisfaction?
We absolutely guarantee all our work. If ever you are not completely satisfied with a cleaning, simply call us as soon as possible and we will come back and make things perfect, no later than the next business day.

What about insurance?
We carry liability insurance as well as worker's compensation. We take complete responsibility for any accidents or injuries on the job. In 20 years of cleaning thousands of homes, we have had only one minor work comp claim.

What if something breaks while you're cleaning?
Again, we take complete responsibility. We pay for the replacement cost of the item and for any inconvenience replacing it may cause.

What does it mean for a cleaning service to be bonded?
Cleaning services buy fidelity bonding that is a form of insurance to protect customers from theft. We carry a $50,000 bond from CNA Surety. In 20 years we have never had to use this insurance.

Who provides the supplies and equipment?
We provide everything, but if there is a specific product (or products) you prefer, we will use it. All our cleaning supplies are chosen with your health and safety in mind. We use products like Simple Green, vinegar, Bon Ami and liquid dish soap. We use microfiber cloths to help cut down on the amount of cleaning solution required. We use hypo-allergenic bags in our upright vacuums, and our canister vacuums are equipped with HEPA filters.

How do I pay you?
Simply leave a check or cash in your kitchen on your cleaning day.

Do I have to sign a contract to begin service?
No. You are free to start or stop service at any time, without penalty.

Am I able to cancel a cleaning without penalty?
Absolutely! You may cancel a scheduled cleaning anytime, but we appreciate you giving as much notice as possible.

What about my pets?
Pets are not a problem for us. We will just need to know any special instructions regarding their care while we are in your home.

Do you clean windows?
Yes, we do window cleaning.
